Solo Stroll – Sorry, Schoolwork

I start every weekend, super stoked as my walks take me to different places besides my lunch time park stroll. Donโ€™t get me wrong, as our park is gorgeous and a perfect walking space. I am just a Sagittarius, who longs for variety and new views/places.

This weekend, is convention-eve in our household. This means stress level is HIGH, time is at a premium and there is lots of preparation and nervousness. This year is even more crazy as Kerri is a college student as well; meaning all her assignments that would be due next week, need to be done this weekend. There is NO WAY for Kerri to do anything but work and sleep during convention week. So I go into Super Wife mode; ensuring that I am catering to her needs, making our meals, doing our laundry and generally helping her rally and keep a smile on her beautiful face!

During the lulls of my super wifeness, I head out for my walks. Yesterday to another new park and today to a very special place for Kerri and I, Chalco. We had our first date here and it is also where Kerri proposed to me. ๐Ÿ’•

It felt odd, slightly sad, being there without Kerri. I got out of the Jeep, took a deep breath and began my 4.5 mile walk. It was beautiful and the weather actually cooperated! After the hike I happened upon a bald eagle nest.

It was so gorgeous and make me think of my dedicated wife, at home, working her tail off. I hurried home to her, greeting her with kisses and hugs. Iโ€™m so proud of this woman! Next weekend, Iโ€™ll give her a piggyback ride and we can get outside together. ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿปโ€๐Ÿคโ€๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿผ
